To make a printer automatic, is best done with one that uses ink bottles rather than cartridges that often need changing. Most printers handle up to 500 sheets so another machine is needed to feed paper into it from a big stack. A second or third printer could take over in case of paper jams.
All up, that might cost a few thousand dollars but could be productive up to 24 hours a day while the person who owns this setup might only work for an hour or two.
It's not rocket science. Compare that to say, owning a deli and what that would cost.
The long hours. Employing someone to take over when another employee is sick or on holiday. Paying overtime to get more than 8 hours a day out of a worker.
It's better for everyone because it's more efficient.
Many people worry about robots taking their jobs as if that's a bad thing. If only bosses owned the machines it might be a bad thing. What I'm suggesting is for everyone to own their own automatic, productive machine. Problem solved. If only people recognized an opportunity and believed in themselves. If only people would get together and help each other. Share ideas and share skills. Stop always playing the victim.
That's a bit harsh but it's often how I see it.
I called my website shrewbag.com and I called my idea AMEN. If I have offended anyone trying to save the lives of millions of kids starving to death because of poverty, good. Tell people. Get a conversation going. Whatever it takes. The nice people at Urban Dictionary will explain my sense of humor. Also offensive lol.
Having an extra passive income doesn't force people to quit their jobs but it does give everyone more options. I'm sure many people in the forces would rather be home with their families, painting, writing, surfing or whatever. Think about that.
It's an intelligent, productive, morally and ethically good idea once you realize.
Kids can build robots that play soccer because they believe they can and they take the time to learn how.
Not asking people to donate to the poor. I'm asking them to give themselves more money and more free time then show everyone how they did it.
